UK tour of 'Drawing Life'

Drawing Life, a Jewish Music Institute (JMI) production created by composer Jocelyn Pook, director and dramaturg Emma Bernard and visual artist Dragan Aleksic, is inspired by a collection of poems and drawings made by children imprisoned in Terezin. Based on the original poems and drawings of the camp inmates, the performance is a dramatised song cycle featuring archive film and survivor testimony.

Having been awarded Arts Council funding for the second time, JMI are proud to present three performances: Nottingham Lakeside, Warwick Arts and Barbican Milton Court London commencing on 27th January 2016, Holocaust Memorial Day. The London School performance will take place at Toynbee Hall Theatre on January 22nd.
