Odkaz a naděje: Od pražských kantorů k dětem v Terezíně

Holocaust v českých zemích zničil životy i tradice: životy dětí internovaných v terezínském ghettu a tradice duchovní hudby pěstované v pražských synagogách. Na tomto koncertě sbor Clothworkers Consort Leeds z Velké Británie přednese nedávno znovuobjevená pražská synagogální hudební díla ztracená v průběhu holocaustu; Táňa Fischerová a Daniel Dobiáš pak v novém hudebním aranžmá probudí k životu básně napsané dětmi vězněnými v Terezíně.

Heritage and Hope:  From the Cantors of Prague to the Children of Terezín

The Holocaust in the Czech lands destroyed lives and traditions: the lives of children interned in the Terezín ghetto and the tradition of sacred music in Prague’s synagogues.  In this concert, the Clothworkers Consort of Leeds, UK, performs recently rediscovered music from Prague’s synagogues that was lost during the Holocaust, and Táňa Fischerová and Daniel Dobiáš bring to life poems written by children in Terezín with new musical arrangements.
