The programme opens with a selection of solo piano pieces by the young Josima Feldschuh. This will be followed by Victor Ullmann’s piano sonata no 5 opus 45. The rest of the programme is dedicated to Ullmann’s vocal music and includes Drei jiddische Lieder (Brezulinka) für Singstimme und Klavier, Immer inmitten, a solo cantata based on poems by von Hans Günther Adler for mezzo-soprano and piano, and Fünf Liebeslieder von Ricarda Huch Op. 26.
